project description Description of project: Join other independent contractors in a virtual work community – operators log into an online application and correct information provided by shipping industry on Bills of Lading. Information includes company information and commodity descriptions. This is an entry level process which qualifies participants for additional projects.

Ideal participants have an eye for detail and enjoy repetitive work that requires some interpretation. All work is English language-based.

What you will need:
Broadband access ;
Citrix client (we will provide) to securely connect to application servers;
PeopleForce membership (we will provide)

Qualifications:

Read training materials or review online videos on materials;
Participate in a live online presentation (30 minutes) where we will demonstrate the application;
Attendance of 2-3 online training sessions (small sessions);
Pass a qualifying test that demonstrates understanding of training materials.

Service Level:
Volumes: Minimum commitment to process 8,000 Bills of Lading monthly at a minimum rate of 2,000 per week. At a production rate of 150/hour, this represents a weekly commitment of 13 1/3 hours.
Performance: Quality level of 95%. The client performs regular audits of our work.
Compensation:
Piecework: 0.06 USD per record as follows: a) base of 0.045 USD per record completed with b) additional 0.015 USD per record for team achieving volume commitments.

Based on typical production volumes of 75- 150/hour, the average hourly rate is USD 4.50 - 9.00. Experienced operators routinely exceed 225/hour.
Terms: Invoices submitted monthly on net 45 day basis
