project description as a category leader of 'sustainability entrepreneurship' category of ki-work (http://www.ki-work.com/ki-category/sustainability_entrepreneurship), my intention is to build a foundation to create a skilled set of expertise whose aim is to support the specific category of businesses with the explicit aim using their venturing to solve sustainability-related problems by taking the solutions to the market through creative organizing. in other words: supporting 'sustainopreneurs': 'sustainability entrepreneurs' focusing their start-ups and 'sustainability intrapreneurs' changing established business, companies and corporations from within - all supported businesses acting as (world) change agents! see wikipedia article for the concept - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sustainopreneurship. those approved will be ending up in the Sustainopreneurship Troopers Team presentation page here on ki-work - http://www.ki-work.com/ki-team/sustainopreneurship-troopers.

after intense research identifying the most important dimensions to create a versatile set of change agents as category experts, working solo or in teams, the following three dimensions were identified - experts with varying focuses and biases of their skills, expertise and experience;

geo-economical focus - develping, emerging or developed economies
business size/maturity focus with various commitment levels - startups, private companies or public corporations, supported from few-hours consultancy to full-fledged interim management
business focus - what sustainability-related area the business supported is active within

this ended up in a conversation-starting matrix, where the specs have been presented as a matrix of category experts, divided in the groups of 25 each, times three - all in all 75 experts wanted. this matrix is depicted here. the large version of this matrix is found at http://tr.im/cematrix

Sustainability Entrepreneurship - Category Experts Recruitment Matrix

• geo-economical focus
the sustainability challenges differ depending on where you are on the planet - some regions suffer from obesity and stress-related diseases, while other suffer from malnutrition and famine. some need to shift from highly unsustainable co2-emission-inducing energy sources, where others are in need to get electricity to power up their homes. business activity is here set as a means to create a change, and thus the economic pyramid has been introduced as a concept:

- the base (all people living below four dollars a day, around four billion people),
- the middle (the emerging economies - e. g. the 'brics' countries - brazil, russia, india, china and south africa is one concept flourishing here) and
- the top (commonly referred as the 'OECD' countries, with the top of the top 'G8').

don't get fooled by the old terms first, second and third world, by the way. that image has been heavily changed, and those concepts are not valid anymore (we're not living in the sixties anymore!) - see e. g.
hans rosling's myth-debunking visualized dynamic statistics from his ted.com presentations - http://www.ted.com/index.php/speakers/hans_rosling.html! we need experts coming from all of these regions, or deep experience from them - with tasks done such as supporting corporates to market products to the 'bop' markets in a sustainable way, or enhancing micro finance institutions performance that is micro-lending for small micro enterprises, information/communication technologies, transport and small-scale, distributed energy systems just to name a few of the businesses in need to be supported in these 'bop' contexts. Also, the big transformational change of the corporates at the 'top' of the pyramid needs to be done, like the Fortune 500 corporate Interface Inc., led by its founder and CEO Ray Anderson, has done to dematerialize their energy usage, shifting to sustainable mode towards net zero emission of the world's largest commercial carpet manufacturer. this is far beyond "csr" - we are talking about transforming the very dna and origin of the existence of the corporate, a deep strategic reorientation, where the main purpose of the corporate is to solve a sustainability-related problem.

• business strategic focus - activity area
this description refers to the different business tasks in need to solve the sustainability-related problems - poverty, climate change, health issues, education. as a way to systematize and capture the prioritized areas, and truly to define prioritized 'sustainopreneurial businesses' in order to differ them from other businesses, the 'seeds' acronym has been developed and researched by me and my closest peers - where seeds stands for strengthening of health, education, entrepreneurship, digital unification and sustainable distributed energy and mobility - for more information and case studies, see the SEEDS Innovation Fund Homepage - http://www.seedfund.com.

• business size/maturity and commitment level
this dimension refers to the difference in support task that comes with supporting a start-up company vs. a privately owned small-to-medium size vs. a big established corporation. The startup could be in its embryonic idea stage (the 'idea on napkin' sketch-stage) or at the stage of first prototype of the product/service blueprint done in search for its first customer, or in need of scaling up from the 'bomber squad' entrepreneurial team of three-to-five, now expanding to a 20-employee management-needed small company. Here, the multitude of expert support come in varying commitment levels as well, from small hours of consultancy, to long-term commitment of mentoring and networking support, to the full fledged interim startup management as a full entrepreneurial-for-sustainability team member, and differs to the degree they cannot easily be categorized. It has to be solved in a case by case basis. For small-to-medium sized private companies and for big corporates it is believed that there is enough structure to define a more specific task, whereas the support boils down to two main dimensions - the temporary consultancy project (or periodical/subscribed coaching character of task) vs the interim management work to be done where maybe a whole business function is taken care of all through a business operation cycle (of various reasons - maybe maternity/paternity leave or in need of special competencies in a turnaround stage of the company, alternatively extra capacity defined by an excessive expansion-growth phase).

wrapping up - project description as a conversation starter
this description is meant to be as a conversational starter, and the final structure of expertise is especially developed by its early adopters, where the map will surely be overrun by the embedded wisdom of reality - the people joining the world changing sustainopreneurial troops!

the first 15 of category experts joining the sustainability entrepreneurship teams of experts will also get a tailor-made 3-hour coaching each, for *free* (worth $225), while the rest (the next 60) gets 3 hours for the price of 1 ($75). this coaching consists of both virtual personal productivity and social media virtual identity making, according to individual needs specified, as defined by the two offerings I have posted - 'leverage your deeds' and 'upload your identity' - especially forming your identity at the ki-work and the web links related to your expertise from your profile here at the platform. when *15 in total of associated to my both ki-projects - sustainability entrepreneurship category experts and ÆREAS(i) members* has been recruited, a *general interactive webinar series* with these themes focused will be given *for free* for all category experts/Æreas(i) members (a $25 worth per webinar). this is done, since it is believed to be a critical success factor for the category marketplace as such that the early adopters gets success to market their services, and acts as a role model for the rest of the category experts, and especially inspire the category professionals that join the category marketplace over time.
