I am a seasoned Information Security Architect with over 30 years of experience in the financial services, healthcare, education, transportation, government, and retail markets. I am a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM); Certified Homeland Security, Level III, Homeland Security, Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and have numerous certifications that are security product specific. I have been an Independent Security Consultant, working specifically project centric in areas such Network Security Design, HIPAA review and consultation, Sarbanes-Oxley testing and assessment, PCI-DSS design and evaluation. Prior to my going Independent, I was the Chief Information Security Officer for Mutual of New York (MONY), Insurance company in New York and Chief Security Officer for Acxiom Corporation, a large data mining company in Little Rock, Arkansas. Prior to my corporate experience, I retired from the United States Air Force as Chief, Information Protection Branch for the USAFR Command, Warner Robins AFB, Ga., retiring as Chief Master Sergeant (E-9) after 27 years.
