I am a teacher and guide living and working in Spain. I worked for many years at Summerhill School where I was the Curriculum Manager and art teacher. I believe in using creative processes in all areas of our lives including leisure, work and business. I apply this philosophy to my work on the Camino de Santiago, my work as an educator and my artistic work. I work with teachers to help them teach better and currently have a number of educational projects. The most consuming is a puppet show that helps Spanish children to learn English (and English children to learn Spanish). This is very successful and leads me to offer creative workshops in centres of professional development to help teachers in their wok. I am also promoting a major new project on the Camino de Santiago to bring international groups of young people together on what I call the Camino del Encuentro. This walking trail provides an inspirational experience of community, endeavour and discovery for young people. If the leaders of tomorrow are formed in an environment of mutual cooperation and understanding we will be building a better world.
