Smedberg Machine Corporation is a family owned provider of press repair solutions for the metal-forming industry. SMC engineers and custom crafts replacement and auxiliary parts for stamping equipment. With my support, SMC received ISO 9001, QS-9000-TE Supplement, and ISO 14001 Certifications and achieved Ford Q1 Supplier status and Ford “Green” Status for Reliability & Maintainability. State-funded training grants helped off-set training costs 50%. Led efforts for first ever corporate budgets by developing a model for projecting monthly sales by product.

SteriGenics is an industrial sterilizer of food and medical products utilizing Cobalt-60 irradiation. Promoted from Quality Manager to Operations Manager and became facility Radiation Safety Officer. I had lead responsibilities for interactions with Federal and State regulatory agencies. I managed 26 men in four shifts. Responsible for investigating and resolving non-conformances and customer complaints in an ISO-certified, GMP-regulated environment.

Amersham was an international corporation providing radioactive drugs and devices for diagnosis and treatment; industrial radiography sources and equipment; sources for calibrating radiation detection and measurement equipment; sources for smoke detectors; and sources for static elimination. Led GMP compliance programs for radio-pharmaceutical manufacture, enhanced quality management system for industrial radiation source manufacture and distribution, and developed supplier audit program.
