it is free for anyone to join the marketplace, set up a profile, create a category-specific offer, make referrals, and manage their reputation.
name search is free, but category-specific search is charged per contact selected. Accreditation, additional offers and improved search engine ranking are all chargeable (see billing model).
the total transaction value is split by category as follows:
- 15% to category leader
- 70% to accredited experts
- 15% retained by ki work
in subsequent development phases, revenue may be generated from commissions on secure payment and operational services, and from advertising. founder members and accredited experts are expected to share revenue on the same basis as above.
